The Prep School is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.  In order to plan efficiently for meals and adequate staff, we need to know the approximate hours your child will be attending our school.  

Please inform the office if: your child will arrive late or he/she will be absent on a regular school day.  If your child is absent for two or more days, the director will contact you to inquire about his/her situation.

The Prep School is committed to providing high quality and affordable care for your child.  The following is the tuition rate until further notice.  Siblings receive a 25% discount.

Monthly Rates

     Full day - 5 days per week - $600.00

Daily Rates

     Full day - 2 to 4 days per week - $30.00

Tuition payments are required for each full week of school regardless of absenteeism due to illness or vacation.  However, vacation days are allowed for both part-time and full-time students.      

Please inform the director (in advance) of all scheduled vacation days and or absences for an extended period of time by filling out a vacation form.  This vacation form must be turned in 2 weeks in advance to get your tuition credited.  If the form is not turned in, you will not receive tuition credit.      

Each family receives 5 vacation days for each school year (beginning of the school year in Fall (mid-August) to the beginning of the following school year in Fall (mid-August).  However, vacation days are pro-rated for those families that start mid-year.  If your child starts after January 1, only 3 vacation days are allotted until the Fall semester (mid-August).  If you child starts on or after June 1, zero vacation days are allotted until the Fall semester (mid-August). 

Vacation forms are available through any staff member and are also located in the entry way of The Prep School.

The Prep School requires that children who attend the school must be potty trained.  What does potty trained mean?  Well, let me explain… 

Children should wear panties or underwear.  Diapers and or pull-ups are not allowed (not even during nap time).

During a group bathroom break, a child who is potty trained is able to walk into the bathroom and know what to do when a toilet is in front of her or him.  We have child-sized potties that help children gain independence, but teachers are present if a child needs help getting onto the potty. 

In addition, a child should be able to wipe her/himself after peeing or pooping. 

Lastly, a child should be able to pull down and pull up all articles of clothing on own.  Of course, buttons, snaps, and zippers are tricky at times and a teacher is present to assist in these times.    

We realize that potty accidents do occur occassionally.  Because of this, we ask that you please bring an extra change of clothes (comprised of undies, pants, socks, and shirt) and keep in your child’s cubby for the time an accident might occur.  If these extra clothes are used, be sure to refresh your child’s extra clothes supply.  The Prep School has so extra pieces of clothing at the school, but if not, you might receive a call from us requesting clothing.  If accidents occur more than occassionally, like on a daily basis or more than once a day, your child’s enrollment in the school might be deferred to a later date.
